  This daycare is very difficult to get in not because it is very good, but rather their small enrollment and low efficiency. The facilities are very old and curriculum is outdated. I works in Rutgers. So I considered this one at first. People are blinded by the mere fact that it is very hard to get in and thought it is because this school is very good. I learned from my colleagues that I needed to start early and I could be on the waiting list for more than one year. So I applied for enrollment to 2yr class when my daughter was just four month old. However, in this long time waiting period, they decided to made some changes and asked all the people on the waiting list to re-register. I missed their email and miss the deadline to re-register. But as soon as I found out, I emailed back and asked to be put back to waiting list. They just don't reply email. After my experience of finding a day care for my daughter, I found out there are actually a lot of good schools in the area. I felt really lucky that I did not get stuck in this one.

• Review of "Minnow Pond Preschool" at Piscataway Township

  They say teaching is a thankless job, and as far as financial compensation goes, that may be true. But the director, teachers, assistant teachers and staff of Minnow Pond have an unconditional love for teaching and nurturing the children who are in their daily care. My son has gone from a toddler to a little boy in the three years that he has attended the preschool since the age of 2 1/2. He has grown and matured academically, spiritually and socially in a relatively short time. I know that my son is entering a completely safe environment where the school adheres to all lockdown procedures. All who enter the facility must be manually allowed in to both the school and the church entrances. Although bitter-sweet (because this was his first "family" away from home), when he graduates from this school in June, I am fully confident my son has been prepared to achieve his full potential. The well structured curriculum at the preschool has prepared him for the next chapter in his life...kindergarten! Thank you Minnow Pond and God Bless!!!

  My son loves going to JEI, and their Math program has helped him stay on top since 2015. I would recommend this center. Very highly professional staff and my concerns have always been dealt with immediately.
